Fastek Electrical Installations Ltd. is a professionally managed company employing Registered Apprentices, Certified Journeyman, Master Electricians and Professional Electrical Contractors (PEC).

A Registered Apprentice is an electrician in training, registered with the Alberta Government, working towards a journeymen certification.

A Certified Journeyman Electrician is a person who has a minimum of 4 years in technical and on the job training. A Master Electrician needs to be involved in every project, regardless of the scope of work. The Master Electrician is the one who can be held personally accountable for the electrical safety of the installation.

The Professional Electrical Contractor (PEC) designation is a registered profession within the Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry Ministry. A PEC is a business professional who, in addition to being regulated with ethical standards, is fully accountable to the public through his peers.
